D-Link router login
D-Link’s old habit is unusual enough that people “fix” it incorrectly: the username is admin, and the password box is left empty. Typing the word blank or password will fail.

Connect to the D-Link
Use the Wi-Fi name on the label, often dlink-XXXX, or an Ethernet cable.
Where the sticker password usually is -

Open 192.168.0.1
That is the usual DIR address. Also try dlinkrouter.local, then 192.168.1.1 if the first page does not load. Full notes: 192.168.0.1.

Leave the password empty
Username admin. Click into the password field and do not type. Submit the form. If the label prints an Admin Password, use that instead of the blank field.
What the login box looks like
Empty means empty
Do not type blank, admin, or the Wi-Fi PIN into the password box when the manual says leave blank. The Wi-Fi PIN on a WPS card is for joining Wi-Fi, not for this form.
D-Link will not open
The form says the password is wrong
A blank field was filled with spaces, or the unit is a newer model with a printed password. Spaces count as a password. Clear the box completely.
The wizard already ran
D-Link asks you to set an admin password on first setup. The empty password only exists before that wizard, or after a factory reset.
You only see a limited mobile page
Request the desktop site, or try another browser. Some DIR firmware hides settings behind a basic status view on small screens.
