192.168.1.1 is a private address your router can answer. It is not a website, and it will not load from mobile data. Type it in the browser address bar while you are joined to that router’s Wi-Fi or plugged into its LAN port.
Connect to your own router, open http://192.168.1.1 in the address bar, then try the sticker password before any factory pair such as admin / admin.
This link only works when your phone or computer is connected to that router. A website on the public internet cannot log in for you.

Join the network you want to administer
Use the Wi-Fi name printed on the router, or an Ethernet cable into a LAN port. Guest Wi-Fi often blocks the admin page on purpose.

Some routers open with a warning because they use a self-signed certificate. Continue only if you just typed this address on your own network. Then the login form appears.

These are common factory values published for first-time setup of equipment you own. An ISP, installer, or previous owner may have changed them. After you get in, set your own admin password.
What this address actually is
192.168.1.1 sits in the private block 192.168.0.0/16. Millions of routers reuse it inside separate homes. From the public internet the number does not lead to your admin page, which is why a guide on the web cannot press the login button for you.
The first address in the 192.168.1.0 network is reserved as the gateway. Phones and laptops receive the later numbers, such as 192.168.1.20. If your own device has 192.168.1.1, it is bridging or it has a manual address that collides with the router. Set it back to automatic.
Hostnames that point at the same login
On the router’s own Wi-Fi, tplinkwifi.net, router.asus.com, routerlogin.net, and myrouter.local often resolve to this page or to the brand’s real gateway. They fail, correctly, when you are on mobile data. The numeric address is the fallback when the name does not resolve.
192.168.1.1 will not open
The browser searches the web instead
The address was typed into Google, Bing, or the phone’s search widget. Go back, tap the address bar, and submit 192.168.1.1 there. A search results page is not your router.
The site cannot be reached
You are on mobile data, a VPN, or a different Wi-Fi. Reconnect, then check the real gateway with find your router IP. The router may be using 192.168.0.1, 192.168.50.1, or 10.0.0.1.
A login appears, but every password fails
The factory value was changed. The table cannot override that. Use the password you created, or reset the router you own. Resetting erases settings. See factory reset.
The page is the modem, not the Wi-Fi router
An ISP modem often keeps 192.168.1.1, and the router you bought sits behind it on another address. Read the gateway on a phone joined to the second box’s Wi-Fi. Xiaomi in that spot is usually 192.168.31.1.
