TP-Link router login
TP-Link still ships two different front doors. Older Archer and TL-WR routers open at 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 with the username admin. Many current models ignore that pair and expect the admin password printed on the bottom label.

Connect to the TP-Link Wi-Fi
Use the network name on the sticker. Guest Wi-Fi and a neighbor’s network will not reach the admin page.

In the address bar, type tplinkwifi.net. If that fails, open 192.168.0.1 and then 192.168.1.1.

Choose the right password
Try admin as both username and password on older models. If the page rejects it, type the string labeled Admin Password on the sticker, not the Wi-Fi key, unless the label says they are the same.

Create a password if asked
A new router often has no factory password at all. The first visit asks you to invent one. Write it down. The word admin will not work after that.

Do not mix up the two passwords
The Wi-Fi key joins laptops and phones to the network. The admin password opens settings. TP-Link prints both, often in different rows. Using the Wi-Fi key in the login form is the most common failure on newer Archer models.
TP-Link will not open
tplinkwifi.net opens a public page
You are not on the TP-Link network, or the browser searched the web instead of treating the name as an address. Rejoin the router Wi-Fi and type the name in the address bar.
Deco has no full web page
Deco mesh systems are managed in the Deco app. The web address may only show a limited status page. Wi-Fi changes belong in the app, signed in with the TP-Link ID used at setup.
admin / admin is rejected
The password was changed, or this unit uses the sticker. A factory reset restores the label password and erases the Wi-Fi name, so reconnect with the network printed on the router afterward. See factory reset.
