Default password lookup
Filter by brand or IP. The table lists factory values that manufacturers have published for first setup. If the cell says the password is on the sticker or was created in an app, there is no shared default to try.

Find the brand on the router label
The brand, not the ISP logo on a rebranded box, decides which row to read.

Use the address you already opened, or look it up with find your router IP.

Try the published pair once
If it fails, stop guessing. Use the sticker or the password you created. A long series of failures can lock the page for a few minutes.
Logging in is only for equipment you administer. After a successful factory login, change the admin password before you change anything else.

These are common factory values published for first-time setup of equipment you own. An ISP, installer, or previous owner may have changed them. After you get in, set your own admin password.
Frequently asked questions
Why are there two passwords for one brand?
Older and newer models of TP-Link, Netgear, and Linksys do not share one factory login. The note on each row says which generation it fits.
The password is not in the table.
It was changed, or the model never had a shared default. The sticker and a factory reset are the remaining options you control.
Is the Wi-Fi password in this table?
No. This table is the admin login. The Wi-Fi key is the other row on the sticker. Background: change the Wi-Fi password.
