192.168.3.1 is the address on many Huawei and Honor home routers. It is easy to miss if you start at 192.168.1.1, which may be the optical modem in front of it. The password that works is on the nameplate.

Leaving the modem at 192.168.1.1 and the Huawei at 192.168.3.1 is a stable layout. Change Wi-Fi only on 192.168.3.1. Change the broadband account only on the modem, and only if you know the ISP username.
