192.168.2.1 Login
192.168.2.1 is less famous because fewer brands print it as the factory address. You usually arrive here in two ways: an older Belkin, or a modern router that stepped aside after it noticed another gateway already using 192.168.1.1.
If the gateway on your device is 192.168.2.1, open http://192.168.2.1. Use the same admin password as the brand sticker. Do not assume admin / admin just because the IP looks unfamiliar.
This link only works when your phone or computer is connected to that router. A website on the public internet cannot log in for you.

These are common factory values published for first-time setup of equipment you own. An ISP, installer, or previous owner may have changed them. After you get in, set your own admin password.
How a router decides to move
On boot, some firmware probes 192.168.1.1. If something answers, the firmware shifts its LAN to 192.168.2.1 or a similar address and restarts DHCP. Your devices then need a new lease. Reconnect Wi-Fi after you add a second router, then read the gateway again.
192.168.2.1 will not open
Neither 192.168.1.1 nor 192.168.2.1 loads
The phone is on mobile data, or the router picked yet another network such as 192.168.10.0. Read the gateway again after you join the correct Wi-Fi.

During a conflict the radios can both stay up. Forget the network, stand next to the router you want, and reconnect so the gateway you read belongs to that box.

Some optical terminals use 192.168.2.1 as well. Match the title of the login page with the brand on the case before you type a password.
